What if healing begins with regulation?
In this grounded and confronting conversation, Garry Lineham shares the personal journey behind Human Garage and the mission to help one billion people heal themselves.
Before the global reach, there was pain.
Car accidents. Concussions. Chronic dysfunction.
Millions spent searching for answers.
And still, he woke up unwell.
What shifted everything was not another protocol. It was a regulation.
Not biohacking.
Not outsourcing.
Not chasing experts.
Regulation.
We explore how chronic stress gradually reshapes posture, digestion, inflammation, breathing, and emotional resilience, so that dysfunction feels normal. Garry reframes fascia as more than connective tissue. It is an intelligent communication system bridging the body and the environment.
The fascial maneuvers that began as personal survival evolved into a simple daily stress reset. Breath. Movement. Attention.
For retreat leaders and Experience Architects, this conversation carries weight.
You cannot regulate a room if your nervous system is in survival.
You cannot design a transformation from exhaustion.
This episode is about sovereignty.
A return to rhythm.
To breathe.
To responsibility.

Garry Lineham - Human Garage (Podcast)
[00:00:00] Catherine Kontos: Today, we’re talking with Gary Lineham, of Human Garage. The team behind Fascial maneuvers. Their mission is bold, yet simple to grasp, help 1 billion people learn to heal themselves by 2028. Human garage blends science, intuition, and fascia-focused movement with breath and energetic awareness. So everyday people. Can shift from symptom chasing to symptom change. In this conversation, Gary will teach a maneuver.
[00:00:29] Catherine Kontos: You can try in real time, hopefully share a clear way to think about supplements and make the science feel humans. So let’s get you five minutes closer to flow. Welcome Gary.
[00:00:41] Garry Lineham: Welcome. It’s nice to be here, Catherine, knowing that you’re French Canadian and also Greek. Those are Canada, where we’re from, and Greece is actually, like, the thought birthplace of fashion maneuvers.
[00:00:53] Catherine Kontos: Yeah, I learned that today in our pre-interview, so thank you for letting me know that, and I can’t wait to deep dive it with all of the [00:01:00] information. You are so knowledgeable about this, like I mentioned to you before, I’ve been following you for a while, so I really am so interested, and I can’t wait to learn more about everything that you do and everything that Human Garage represents and, is planning on doing.
[00:01:13] Catherine Kontos: We all go through an evolution in life.
[00:01:16] Catherine Kontos: What was it in your life that made you pivot into the world that you are in today?
[00:01:21] Garry Lineham: I’ve always been a study of the human body, and I’ve always been in sports. I was a, bodybuilder, not too far away from UN, in, London, Ontario. I actually competed in 1989 as a bodybuilder to go professional and the Canadian nationals.
[00:01:35] Garry Lineham: So I’d always been into what can the body do? What sports, how can we achieve? And I had supplement companies, and I had been around health and nutrition my whole life, but as I got older, my life veered me out in nutrition into business, and I was into tech. But during those early days, I had a several series of accidents.
[00:01:54] Garry Lineham: One of them was a car accident, a pretty serious one. I fell under a 600-pound squat [00:02:00] when I was younger. I had a series of accidents that just piled on each other. And I started that health journey that so many people do, looking for ways to solve it. Western medicine didn’t have an answer.
[00:02:10] Garry Lineham: They said, here’s a drug, and there were chiropractors that back then were kind of weird. That’s what the world thought about them, about what the chiropractors, physical therapists, acupuncturists. And I’ve been in this journey of finding doctors, both natural and allopathic, all around the world who could try to help me.
[00:02:26] Garry Lineham: And people generally ask what kind of pain it was. It was back pain, neck pain, uncomfortable pain, couldn’t breathe properly, wasn’t sleeping, with a number of concussions. Over the course of years, I had eight of them. So I was in a post-traumatic stress state, but didn’t even know I was there.
[00:02:42] Garry Lineham: I just woke up and didn’t feel good. I remember one distinct thing well, two things. I remember standing in the shower, getting ready to go to work in my early thirties, and thinking, why can’t I just be like everybody else? Why can’t I enjoy my life? Why do I have to do all these things to try and fix my life just so I could try to enjoy it?
[00:02:58] Garry Lineham: And I was [00:03:00] always looking to fix this problem, and it just drove me into millions of dollars of seeking 300 practitioners over 20 years, and being worse off at the end of 20 years than when I started. I transitioned to become a practitioner because no one else was able to help me.
[00:03:16] Garry Lineham: And I literally thought I had gone from seeking care once every two weeks, once a week, to two times a week, to three times a week, to sometimes three, four times, five times a week. A massage, a chiropractor visit, going to an osteopath, stuff like that, all the way throughout the day, throughout the week.
[00:03:33] Garry Lineham: And there’s no way I could maintain that kind of treatment schedule and work in a job or career. So I really had to make my career medicine or healthcare, and that’s when I became a practitioner. And that’s where the start, you know, pre-human garage. There was a, another clinic, another partner that I worked with, but that was the start, and that was in 2011, where I just finally hit the end of it, and I couldn’t function anymore.
[00:03:57] Catherine Kontos: That’s incredible that you were able to go through [00:04:00] that and find a solution and be as healthy as you are today, standing before me. I’m so happy that you found that because you’re inspiring a lot of other people to heal. Your plan is to help. 1 billion people by 2028 to heal themselves.
[00:04:13] Catherine Kontos: How’s that going
[00:04:14] Garry Lineham: We’re on track. We have over our reach is over a billion people today, and there’s been over a quarter billion people that have downloaded an action that they’re taking. And usually they take it and they share it with other people. So somebody who downloads, like what we have in universities, they’re doing like a vagus nerve reset ’cause the kids are so stressed out and panicking.
[00:04:33] Garry Lineham: So a whole bunch of them have downloaded it, but then they just show each other. So realistically, there’s probably 250 million people doing something. But we can attribute that there’s 50 million people that are practicing to some degree, the fascial maneuvers in some form throughout a week.
[00:04:49] Garry Lineham: And this is where the transition happens. We’re just at that tipping point, where it’s being accepted in professional sports. It’s being accepted in medicine, it’s being accepted in trauma therapy. It’s being [00:05:00] used in schools like we have schools in different parts of the world where the children actually go through a maneuver or two of them in the couple times a day in class taught by the teachers and also, authorized by the schools so that they can calm and regulate their nervous system.
[00:05:14] Garry Lineham: It has this universal kind of approach, where it regulates your nervous system, takes you outta stress. It clears your thoughts, helps you emotionally, and resolve physical pains and issues. And then all of those things commensurate help you perform better. it kind of hits all the buttons, and that’s why I believe that’s why it’s spread across the world.
[00:05:34] Garry Lineham: At the rate it has.
[00:05:35] Catherine Kontos: When was the tipping point where you knew I’ve got something here? Because you’re very successful at what you do. You’ve got over a million followers on Instagram.
[00:05:42] Garry Lineham: We’ve got about 5 million on social programs, by the way, for our accounts. Yeah.
[00:05:45] Catherine Kontos: So when was that point where you’re like, we have something here?
[00:05:48] Garry Lineham: Well, I knew we had something when I was outta pain because during the pandemic, I had been, like, during my clinical practice in Venice, I was okay because I was being treated three, four times a week by my practitioners. [00:06:00] But in 2020, all of a sudden, I found myself in trouble again because I couldn’t go to anybody.
[00:06:04] Garry Lineham: It doesn’t matter how much money I’d spent, there was 17 half million dollars of my time and money finding a solution. That solution was a bunch of practitioners, a bunch of work that we did, and then come to the pandemic, and I can’t access any of it. So that solution is no good.
[00:06:20] Garry Lineham: We had been working with these pro athletes and creating these movements that would help them get out of pain or help their trainers and their doctors while they’re on the road, and they couldn’t see us. They were our clients, and they’d be on the road. So we took a bunch of these movements together, and we strung them together in a series of movements, kinda like yoga.
[00:06:37] Garry Lineham: And I started practicing every day. At first, I was in pain. I’d get up in the morning, seven, eight o’clock. I would practice ’em for about 45 minutes, and then I’d be good till noon. Then I’d be start to slip into pain again. So I’d go do it again, probably about 20 minutes at that time.
[00:06:53] Garry Lineham: And I’d be good till about five. Then I would do it again, just a few minutes, and then I would be good through sleeping. And after a month of doing [00:07:00] that, I didn’t need to do it three times a day. And then after two months of doing that, I started processing all these emotions. And at that time, after the first month, I’m like, it’s finally gonna work.
[00:07:10] Garry Lineham: Because it wasn’t about what do I have that’s gonna help other people? Selfishly, I just want to help myself. And when I was okay, there’s this turning point. We would go out on the rocks on the beach, and we would do these maneuvers every day. I just remember dropping into the zone.
[00:07:24] Garry Lineham: Where I felt happy. And I can’t remember the time before that, that I actually felt happy. I had excitement, I had happy moments, but I never felt happy. I’m like, this is it. This is what I’m looking for. This feeling not necessarily a state of being necessarily.
[00:07:37] Garry Lineham: It was more a feeling than I had. And that’s when I knew, because I’d been searching for that one thing, but I thought that one thing was gonna be delivered by a practitioner. So I kept looking at all these modalities. We had 25 modalities, 52 practitioners, the best in the world, that what we did. But the real answer was inside of me, and the unlocking of that.
[00:07:56] Garry Lineham: That’s where I knew that in 2018 and 2019, but I [00:08:00] didn’t have a way to do it. 2019, I discovered this one movement that would calm my nervous system. And then from there, it just started snowballing. So it wasn’t one moment. It was a, it was a series of progressive moments that.
[00:08:11] Garry Lineham: They go, this is working. But to be more precise, when we hit a million and a half people on TikTok in a month, I knew then that it was gonna hit the world because I just knew that it wasn’t just me that was seeking the solution, it was other people.
[00:08:27] Catherine Kontos: Yeah. You’re speaking, and I’m sure people are completely resonating and understanding, and aligning with everything that you’re saying.
[00:08:33] Catherine Kontos: ’cause a lot of people go out there searching for answers for other people to heal them, and they think everybody else has the answer. But then the answer is, we’re in control of our body and our mind and our soul. And when we come to the realization that it’s up to us to help us and find the solutions and works what’s best for us, that’s when you find the right practitioners that will work for you.
[00:08:52] Catherine Kontos: So, I could relate to it completely and I’m sure other people listening can relate to that, ’cause many people have been down that journey [00:09:00] of not knowing where to get help and hopefully some of them found the solution that you did, during your journey.
[00:09:05] Garry Lineham: That’s where we’re changing things as a practitioner, and we were really good at what we did. I would get angry ’cause I could help anybody else outta their pain, but. Couldn’t help myself.
[00:09:13] Catherine Kontos: Right.
[00:09:13] Garry Lineham: And the feeling that when I was in pain, even after treating people all day long, sometimes getting treated, and it just didn’t quite get me, I’d go home at the end of my clinical practice, and then I’d be in pain and, and the feeling I had was helplessness.
[00:09:27] Catherine Kontos: Mm-hmm.
[00:09:27] Garry Lineham: I no longer wanted to feel helpless. That was the transition point, because I knew after three months of doing these maneuvers that no matter how bad it got, I could find my way out of the pain. I didn’t have to ask somebody, find somebody, be beholden to somebody because even then, when I had all the best practitioners, I didn’t want to ask all the time.
[00:09:46] Garry Lineham: There’s other people that had all these issues going on and I didn’t wanna be the one saying, Hey, my shoulder’s not working Right, right now. And so there’s all this worthiness and am I worth even asking, self-value, and all these other things that go along with that, which I [00:10:00] later found out was this, part of the frequency of being in that state.
[00:10:03] Catherine Kontos: Can you tell for the people that don’t know what is fascia and what are fascia maneuvers and can you show us a little example of what they could do on a daily basis? Something simple.
[00:10:13] Garry Lineham: Sure. So what is fascia? I mean, from a medical and scientific standpoint, it’s a tissue that exists below the skin. We used to think it was benign; it was a connective tissue. We now know it’s super intelligent. It has all this proprioception, sensory inputs. It’s kind of what tells you that if somebody walks into a room and they’re angry and you feel it, it’s the feeling sense of the body.
[00:10:33] Garry Lineham: We are taught, we have five senses, but we have other senses, clear audience, clear ance, all these other things that we have that sometimes we get it in, like we get an intuition about something. That’s clear sentience, we hear something, a voice in our head that tells us not to do something, or to do something clear audience.
[00:10:50] Garry Lineham: So we have all these senses that sometimes pop up once in a while, and how do they impact us and get in us? And how do we know when somebody is in a room, and they’re angry? Well, that would be your [00:11:00] fascia. That’s telling you that it’s that sensory that goes beyond those five senses, that’s outside of you.
[00:11:04] Garry Lineham: But then, as soon as you say that, it means that. It’s actually outside of you. So this ball of energy we have around us, called an aura, that’s seems more likely that that’s the part that’s sensing everything, and we’re just interpreting it. So if that’s it, and we know our fascia connects us to it, then that means that our fascia technically has a physical part that we see in a not-so-physical part that we see, which is out here.
[00:11:28] Garry Lineham: It’s like when somebody throws something at you and somehow even from behind you duck. And the question is, how did that happen when your brain isn’t even aware that there’s a problem, ’cause you didn’t see it. And there’s all these things that we do in our lives, and we go, whoa, that’s really cool.
[00:11:43] Garry Lineham: That’s good instincts or good reflexes. And I’m like, no, there’s no reflex. Reflex means something hits you, or you reacted to something. So if it’s a reflex, that means that reflex is doing something that’s outside of your brain’s awareness. So questioning the whole thought of, like, where’s [00:12:00] the brain?
[00:12:00] Garry Lineham: Like, where’s our mind? Does our mind live inside our head? Or does our mind live outside the body? And this is the journey that I went on. From my point of view right now, we know that we have this field around us. We can take pictures of it. We dog sense it. We have scanners that can actually scan it.
[00:12:15] Garry Lineham: So we know that there’s this field around us that exists. But that field is a higher frequency. And, you know, people say, I’m raising my frequency. You hear it all the time. What does that actually mean? I mean, you’re trying to get into that field. So that’s a higher intelligence.
[00:12:29] Garry Lineham: And that’s part of the human experience, and as we come to the center of the human experience, we get denser and denser. So this is less dense than this. And when you grab my arm, it’s more dense in the air around it or the field around it. And as we go through the center of the body, we get to the bone.
[00:12:45] Garry Lineham: Calcium, and that’s the densest part of the human experience. So we identify, when we say human, we identify with this body, but we don’t identify necessarily with that higher frequency out there, which is more intelligent than us. So I propose that we have a human [00:13:00] experience at the center of it is what we call human.
[00:13:01] Garry Lineham: And at the center of it, it’s also denser. So like, I mean, denser in every way. Not as smart as that energy out there. But that’s what we’ve been taught to identify as human. And by the way, at the center of us, we have bones and bones, calcium, people actually forget is actually a metal. So we are actually at the center of us.
[00:13:19] Garry Lineham: We’re like a radio beacon. We send and receive signals, and the fascia is water and sand. It’s the crystalline structure. And that crystalline structure actually is like what you would put on your cell phone on top of that little wired antenna. We got a crystal around it, which takes that signal and pushes it three to five miles.
[00:13:37] Garry Lineham: So this is fascia from a biological standpoint, we’ll just say it’s underneath the skin. But if we truly want to think about biology, biology can’t exist only inside the body because all this stuff around here affects what happens in the body,
[00:13:52] Catherine Kontos: right?
[00:13:52] Garry Lineham: And this is where I’m going, and this is where I’m driving people to, is just re-imagining or rethinking the way that we look at our human [00:14:00] existence.
[00:14:00] Catherine Kontos: If I would, and I have asked the doctor, what is fascia? They’ll be, you know, the skin over the chicken, there’s this light skin over that’s fascia right? And it covers your entire body. That’s the explanation I got, when the first time I asked, I was not expecting the answer that you just gave me.
[00:14:15] Garry Lineham: Yeah, well, I mean, look at that, is the way we thought of it, but we used to also think, back in the times 2000 years ago, the times of the biblical times, we used to think that the bones were wood. And we used to also think that, if we go back in history and we look at all the stupid stuff we used to think was something else, and we find out today that it’s different.
[00:14:32] Garry Lineham: Science keeps changing and evolving. And our understanding of things keep changing. And if we were to go, 20 years in the future, and we look back, what are we gonna say? That we believe today. What are we gonna say? That was stupid. I mean, looking back at all of the things that we used to. Yeah.
[00:14:48] Garry Lineham: Think were completely okay. We used to think that stuff they sprayed in Canada on US det in the, to get rid of mosquitoes. Oh, it’s perfectly safe as kids. I played in it. Now I’m super reactive to it. We used to think [00:15:00] that smoking cigarettes was not only okay but healthy.
[00:15:03] Garry Lineham: So we have all these beliefs that we have at the time, and I question people, or I ask them to step ahead 20 years and look at your life and go, what am I doing today? That in 20 years I’m gonna say that was stupid. And if we can ask that question today, we have a better chance at making it past that 20 years.
[00:15:19] Catherine Kontos: Would you say there’s something today that 20 years ago, that you completely believed you’re like, I can’t believe, I believe that you’ve completely debunked it in your own, I mean, your own practice.
[00:15:28] Garry Lineham: There’s a lot of things. I used to think that the bones were structured in the body.
[00:15:32] Garry Lineham: I practiced chiropractic, but none of the bones in the body touch except for the teeth, the ribcage in the ears. So if structure touches, it’s like these walls back here in these doors are nailed together. Ours doesn’t touch means technically they float. If you take the knee, for example, there’s only one muscle crosses the knee.
[00:15:49] Garry Lineham: It’s about this big, it’s about as big as your finger. And you think about what holds up the knee, that muscle ain’t holding up the knee. The bones touch, you’re in trouble. The meniscus, if you touch it, rips, tendons, keep the knee from pulling apart too [00:16:00] far. So they’re pulling you together. So there’s only two things left.
[00:16:02] Garry Lineham: It’s your fascia and your skin. And I know the skin’s not holding us up. There’s all these things that we believed. I could go into some of the deeper ones, but. We also used to think that stomach issues were caused by stress. And now we know that they’re caused by bacteria.
[00:16:17] Garry Lineham: We used, there’s ulcers, they’re caused by a dill. And we would say if you had ulcers just 30 years ago, 40 years ago, you have to quit your job. You have to end your career. You have to watch out with your kids. You can’t do anything. I mean, we literally took people and ended their careers over this ulcer.
[00:16:33] Garry Lineham: Now we know it’s a bacteria. Yeah. There’s an endless number of things that we have done over the last 30 years alone, where 30 years ago we just thought that was the way. Today we go, that was crazy.
[00:16:42] Catherine Kontos: Yeah, there’s a study, and I don’t know if it relates to what you’re saying, where they stressed out some cows.
[00:16:47] Catherine Kontos: They made them go through a maze and labyrinth in order to get their food. And there was another set of cows where they got food like they were in a resort, right? Like they were getting their food daily without any stress to get it. And in the end, after, I don’t know how long, I don’t [00:17:00] know the details right now, but in the end, what happened is the muscle and the meat were inedible where they were so hard for the one that was stressed out versus the other one, which was super tender.
[00:17:09] Catherine Kontos: Right. So is this,
[00:17:11] Garry Lineham: Yeah. And the cows that got fed really good are looking at the other cows, saying, what’s your beef? I know that’s an utterly horrible joke. Okay. But I’ll just keep milking them as long as I can
[00:17:22] Catherine Kontos: a, a good, bad joke.
[00:17:23] Garry Lineham: Yeah. So we know that if you’re stressed out, the physical construction of your body changes.
[00:17:28] Garry Lineham: We know that if you’re stressed even slightly, like if you have a low-level stress, like your partner is cheating on you, if you think that every day you’re looking, every time a phone goes, you have a stress response every time they go out, you have a stress response. That means that when you’re stressed, your body does not.
[00:17:42] Garry Lineham: The blood leaves the core of the body from digestion and all the core functions. It goes to the, to the lymphs. ’cause stress to your body is fight or flight. You need to run away. And that means that every time you eat, when you have that low-level stress, like you’re under financial stress, the government’s gonna get you, you’re gonna lose your job, your [00:18:00] partner’s cheating on you, your kid’s sick, something like that.
[00:18:02] Garry Lineham: Yeah, every time you eat while you’re in that state, the food isn’t properly being absorbed, and it’s not properly being digested. ‘Cause you can’t do that when there’s not enough blood. So over time, those little stressors start to wear down the body’s ability to recover. And of course, those cows had unedible meat.
[00:18:18] Catherine Kontos: What is it that you do in your practice? Is it the maneuvers that you do that release stress, heal? I don’t know if you can give us maybe an example, something that maybe chills you even to this day of a person that you really, really helped that you were even amazed at what happened to them.
[00:18:33] Catherine Kontos: Do you have any examples to
[00:18:34] Garry Lineham: Yeah. Yeah. That person’s me, I’d spent 20, 70 and a half million dollars. Hundreds of practitioners became one, had their world’s best care, and I still was not. Okay. And I couldn’t do it, then how could I expect anybody else to do it?
[00:18:46] Catherine Kontos: Mm-hmm.
[00:18:46] Garry Lineham: So, yeah, I mean, there’s miracles that happen every day.
[00:18:49] Garry Lineham: We have tens of thousands of women between 55 and 67 coming out of menopause, including my assistant. She came and says, no, I’m in menopause. When she started working for me, she’s in her fifties, and I’m like, not for long, you know? [00:19:00] And she as living this lifestyle. Then boom, she’s out, and we have thousands and thousands and thousands, I don’t even know if it’s tens of thousands, yet it’s thousands into the tens of thousands that have reversed their autoimmune disease.
[00:19:11] Garry Lineham: And showed us medical evidence, hundreds of showed us medical evidence sent back, sent in there before and afters. And we have people that couldn’t walk or had scoliosis that don’t have it anymore. They’re to the point where we don’t even keep track of the success stories because there’s too many of them.
[00:19:28] Garry Lineham: We used to put ’em all up and we’d post ’em on social media, but then at our size, it’s like you can get like sometimes 500 or a thousand of those a day. So the success is there’s not one, there are tens of thousands or hundreds of thousands of those stories. And you ask what I do. Since 2020, I took an experiment.
[00:19:45] Garry Lineham: And the experiment was, what if I only do this because I wanted to truly know, standing in front of you, that I wanted to truly, in my heart, in every way. Be able to stand in front of you. Say, I did it with this. So I didn’t do it with medical, with intervention. I didn’t do it [00:20:00] with a whole bunch of technology.
[00:20:01] Garry Lineham: I did it by cleaning up my environment, by taking the stress outta my body with fascial maneuvers, creating hydration in my body, and by moving it. And that’s what I wanted to do. Part of it is I use a few pieces of technology to keep my environment clear, like a water filter. Chemicals in the clothing or the food, I use hydrogen machine and a nano v.
[00:20:21] Garry Lineham: So I have a few selected pieces of technology, red light therapy, ’cause I’m sometimes in places when I’m traveling that don’t have access to the sun and stuff like that. But I make my environment healthy, I even moved that environment around with me, and that’s what I’ve been doing for years. Like, I’ve been on the road for 18 months, and somebody goes on the road for three months.
[00:20:38] Garry Lineham: Usually, their bodies are decimated. But I’ve been accelerating my health journey even while I’m on the road, which is unheard of. And it’s adhering to some basic principles. Number to 90% of your stress goes away in the first seven to 10 minutes of doing fascial maneuvers. So we have a 15-minute stress reset, which anybody can do.
[00:20:56] Garry Lineham: It’s free, it’s online, and you go do it in 15 minutes. You [00:21:00] will feel the reduction in stress, you’ll feel a calming in your nervous system, a calming in your thoughts, and a calming in your body. If you repeat that action on a regular basis, your body starts to habituate the state of not being stressed out all the time.
[00:21:12] Garry Lineham: If you do something like that once a day, over a course of a month, you feel better. Over the course of three months, you actually change the needle on any kind of diagnosis. Now, if you do it twice a day, now you’re putting a major impact on diagnosis within one to one and a half months, because you’re taking your body outta stress.
[00:21:29] Garry Lineham: And again, I’m not saying fascial maneuvers is the cure. I’m saying taking your body outta stress, and there’s no doctor or practitioner, or scientist that can argue with this statement or will if you take your body outta stress twice per day completely. And you do that over a course of a month, your life changes, and everybody will agree.
[00:21:46] Garry Lineham: Do it in three months, your life really changes. So really it’s about how we manage stress, and what we found out later on after doing these maneuvers is somehow they impact our emotions. And if they impact our emotions, which are [00:22:00] connected Chinese medicine to our organs, then somehow it’s dealing with maybe these meridians that go through our body.
[00:22:05] Garry Lineham: I like to say that we have a lot of science behind this. We do have science. We have things that we’ve scientifically looked at. I’ve studied this to death, but in the mainstream’s view of science, since it’s so new, we are now starting to have doctors and scientists and people all over the world that are running tests because the reason why we have a million plus practitioners following us and prescribing this, because somehow, some way.
[00:22:27] Garry Lineham: Their patients were impacted positively without their intervention. The first people that find something like this are the ones that can’t be helped by medicine or by doctors. And the very first people that were successful, those are the first ones that found us in 20 20, 20 21, the seekers.
[00:22:43] Garry Lineham: And they started getting better in front of their, their doctors. And that’s what started to move the needle from a medicine point of view. Because all of a sudden, if you’re a practitioner or doctor out there and you’re hearing this, you have five to 7%, maybe 10% of your patient base that you can’t help.
[00:22:58] Garry Lineham: You know that. And they come [00:23:00] back to you because they don’t know where else to go, and you don’t know where else to set up. Those are the ones that found us and started to help themselves, and that’s where it started to move the needle in healthcare.
[00:23:09] Catherine Kontos: I know that on your website, you have a lot of free videos, and there’s also.
[00:23:13] Catherine Kontos: I think a coaching program as well, right? To help people do this, for others as well.
[00:23:19] Garry Lineham: Our primary offering is free, and in other words, we have thousands, maybe even tens of thousands. I don’t even know the number. We have at least 10,000 videos on how to help yourself in different ways for you, and you can find your way and search it, and find your routine.
[00:23:31] Garry Lineham: Now, if you wanna put those together, in a structured way, we have some programs that, we’ve pioneered a model, pay what you feel is right, pay us a dollar, pay us 50, pay us $2,000, and we have programs like a one day reset or introduction to fascial maneuvers, seven day reset. 28-day reset.
[00:23:49] Garry Lineham: We have an introduction to hands-on maneuvers where you can learn to help other people. A lot of the programs are pay what you feel, right? And if you don’t have the money, just DMS, we’ll get you in. It’s not about money. Then there are some where we’re starting to build more [00:24:00] structure, like a coaching program, or a structured program that a practitioner uses, which we drive commerce from.
[00:24:06] Garry Lineham: Because when you make the majority of your offerings free, you have to have some way to do that. I mean, we have 60, 70 employees and we have, we travel the world, so that keeping things free is, you know, four or $500,000 a month right now to continue to move this mission, right? So when somebody buys a supplement that we have or joins a program, it funds that so we can make more.
[00:24:28] Garry Lineham: But my commitment, as I brought this into the world, this is a greater than me. It’s not something that I invented; it’s something that I call it channeled, or I had epiphanies about, and I brought this into the world, and my agreement bringing this into the world is that it would always be accessible.
[00:24:43] Garry Lineham: Everybody would be able to get to it, and the majority of the world can’t even afford to pay a buck. So the idea behind what we’re doing is to keep things free or accessible, and we’re finding new ways to do it all the time. And our community has been great. They contribute, like they people take their [00:25:00] 28 day reset, and they, they’ll take it, you know, two or three times a year, and they’ll contribute each time to help fund the mission, which is really great.
[00:25:06] Catherine Kontos: That’s an incredible value to have in your company and in your mission. Because most people can’t afford not even a dollar. You’re absolutely correct. And if you wanna get to the billion people, which I think it’ll even surpass that. Yeah, it does. By multiple billions.
[00:25:19] Catherine Kontos: What a legacy. You’re leaving behind you, right? That you’re growing. So congratulations on understanding life and how to live it.
[00:25:26] Garry Lineham: Well, as part of the journey, this was me finding my answer. And the truth in finding my answer is that there was nothing really wrong with me. Um, it was an accumulation of belief systems and emotions and dysregulation in my relationships with people that were causing all these issues.
[00:25:43] Garry Lineham: You know, we deny, as we call it disease, disease is, the body’s not at ease. But again, if you’re back to that fearful moment in your body, you don’t feel at ease in your body. If you hold that long enough, eventually somebody can diagnose it. Like I said, if you’re fearful in your body and you.
[00:25:59] Garry Lineham: Food [00:26:00] doesn’t digest, you don’t absorb properly. You get malabsorption over time. You get waste products in your food, your liver, your large intestine takes a big hit trying to take that out. And then over a period of time that becomes measurable by today’s science, but today’s science doesn’t reach back enough to go, where did that start?
[00:26:18] Garry Lineham: This is where you, me, and everybody listening to this as an individual has the ability to go back. What I found was this is my way of turning back the clock. Like biologically. When I started this journey, my biological age is in the sixties, and I’m 56 today. My biological age is in the twenties, and I’m still 56.
[00:26:37] Garry Lineham: What I’ve reversed is, and I don’t even know if reversing is a way to do it, I adapt to the environment. With less stress than it takes to move forward. So in other words, I’m living younger every day, and I feel it. I feel better today in my movement, my body, my life than when I was 30 or when I was even 20.
[00:26:54] Catherine Kontos: Do you feel there’s also, for some people, a spiritual component that helps with that?
[00:26:58] Garry Lineham: Well, it’s all [00:27:00] spiritual. I mean that energy we had around us,
[00:27:02] Catherine Kontos: right?
[00:27:02] Garry Lineham: That’s our connection to this spiritual world. It’s if we have this energy around us, we can’t be this meat suit.
[00:27:08] Garry Lineham: We gotta have something more. So we are spiritual beings, and people are looking outside for a spiritual process. If you wanna find spirituality, you look inside. And we connect inside because when we connect inside, we all of a sudden start to connect with that field around us, that spiritual process.
[00:27:24] Garry Lineham: And people right now are seeking spirituality through shamans, through religion, through belief systems. And you know, even hip says, you know, he said, if you understood the way the world works, so in other words, one of the ways you can understand it is information astrology was the one that they used back then.
[00:27:41] Garry Lineham: He says, so a person understands the way the world works, understands astrology doesn’t need a belief system to be saved. And this is the father of modern-day medicine, but we’ve been convinced that we need to have all these routines and belief systems outside of us. And really, what is fascial maneuvers?
[00:27:58] Garry Lineham: Technically, it’s [00:28:00] moving the inside of your body as if you were actually moving in nature. Like you don’t need, when we up in Canada and Vancouver, where we live, we have these waterfalls and boulders, and we go climbing up the boulders, and it’s one of my favorite things to do. Like, literally, it’s my favorite thing to do, and I climb up those boulders, and when I climb up there, I don’t need to do fascial maneuvers.
[00:28:22] Garry Lineham: Way because I’m moving every part of my body and moving around. And when our body is in motion, it naturally adapts, or you could call it healing or performing. And the origin of every motion in our body starts with breath,
[00:28:36] Catherine Kontos: right?
[00:28:36] Garry Lineham: And we sit in chairs, we lose our ability to breathe properly, we become hypoxic, and we become acidic.
[00:28:45] Garry Lineham: And that’s our current state of awareness today. I always say to people, go look at pictures now in with social media and internet. Go look at pictures of people in a beach in the sixties or seventies or even eighties. Just take a look at like a random photo of beach wear. And everybody [00:29:00] was lean every, everywhere, all over the world.
[00:29:02] Garry Lineham: Everybody was lean, everybody was healthy. Everybody stood tall. Wa today, go to. Beaches where people are fit and they don’t look like that. So there’s something that’s going wrong in the way that we live our lives, and it’s really about the way we live our lives. So, fascial maneuvers was a tool to help me become active and mobile in my body again, to reduce stress and to get the flow inside my body, to match the flow outside of my body.
[00:29:27] Garry Lineham: And the whole point of that is actually to live that life again. Like I seek places when we travel. It’s been tougher in the current state because traveling to big cities and events and stuff like that. But when we were on our world tour, we look for places in nature where we get in the lakes every day, where we can climb and we can walk.
[00:29:46] Garry Lineham: And the idea is really our solution is to be in nature. Even the greatest biohackers in the world, like, Gary Breca, he says, I’m gonna tell you all the things that all these things they do is they are simulating nature. Now you can go in nature. Unfortunately, nobody ever does.
[00:29:59] Garry Lineham: They [00:30:00] just buy the simulation. But the reality is we can go back to nature. We can become natural beings again, and that actually impacts our health more than anything.
[00:30:09] Catherine Kontos: You mentioned before about supplementation. What are the absolute necessary supplementations people should take in North America?
[00:30:16] Garry Lineham: There are some really basics to make this simple, is that because people can listen to this all over the world, and there’s different access to things all over the world. Your body needs some basic components to work. It needs water. It needs clean air, and it needs movement, and it needs clean food and sleep.
[00:30:35] Garry Lineham: Those five things, the supplements that you can get right now that you’re no longer getting from your food is minerals. And it starts off, some of those minerals are being depleted by your environment. Like one of them is silica, we’re made of silica sand, and if we’re deficient in silica, nothing else works.
[00:30:51] Garry Lineham: And so even healthy people are not so healthy anymore because they’re deficient in one of those ones that silica. We did this with patients, we [00:31:00] put all 10,000 patients on silica, and we noticed that everybody got better. Mm-hmm. No matter what their issues were, and I didn’t cure anybody, but it made all of their lives better right away.
[00:31:10] Garry Lineham: Hair, skin, nails, a flow in their body, sleeping better. And then there’s 102 minerals you can use the different ways to get it. We like to recommend like Irish shemos and bladder rack. You get all those two together, you get 102 of those minerals. If you have those minerals, you’re now able to absorb the water, but you have to good source of water, but you’re able to absorb it if you have the minerals in the water.
[00:31:33] Garry Lineham: Then you move your body. That’s really where things start to work again. So, there’s everything you do after good mineralization and good water is a bonus. And in various levels, like some people listening to this will have no access to supplements, and some people will have complete access. So from there you can start to add things on.
[00:31:53] Garry Lineham: And when I say supplements, we have a couple. The ones that we promote or the ones that we sell do have [00:32:00] a couple of functions. One is to reduce inflammation, ’cause everybody’s inflamed in today’s world. So we have a very strong anti-inflammatory called Power 30. So world strongest anti-inflammatory that we know is a hundred times stronger than curcumin.
[00:32:13] Garry Lineham: It’s super powerful. You feel it. Within 25 to 30 minutes, we have inflammation control. We have. Sugar regulation. So we have a, a sugar product that acts like sugar, looks like sugar, and it’s sweet, but it actually calms your blood sugar. So it’s sugar that is good for you, and it’s not like NutraSweet and those things that are actually really bad for you.
[00:32:34] Garry Lineham: It’s actually good. It’s amino acid-based, a non-essential amino acid. So it’s a plant-based sugar. We have something that regulates energy through ketones in your body called fascial fuel. And then we have minerals and those are the only things that we release. So it’s inflammation, sugar regulation, energy production, and minerals.
[00:32:52] Garry Lineham: And if you have those, your body has the basic building blocks, and everything else you do past that is a benefit. But those are the [00:33:00] basic requirements. By the way. Most people are going and buying a bunch of supplements that don’t have those in it. And all those supplements are useless if your body’s in stress.
[00:33:09] Catherine Kontos: So when someone is looking to buy vitamins, obviously, they need to speak to their doctor, especially if they’re on medication and stuff like that. Would the doctor even know what to do with this situation? No.
[00:33:19] Garry Lineham: Most of the doctors that you’re speaking to in a clinical practice or family practice don’t really know, except for the old ones, the old doctors who, you know, the guys who are like 75, 80 years old, still practicing, and the family practice in the small towns.
[00:33:33] Garry Lineham: Those guys kind of knew everything. But today, generally, your doctor’s not the best person. But there’s a lot of good help out there. There are nutritionists that you can go to. There are functional medicine doctors, there’s functional nutritionists that can help you. There’s a whole host of other people, but starting off, you have to help yourself.
[00:33:53] Garry Lineham: There isn’t any doctor that’s gonna help you out of that stress that you have every day. And even if they give you an answer, it’s not gonna help you when you go home. [00:34:00] You have to have a way when you don’t feel comfortable in your body to feel comfortable. If you can do that over time, you will win. If you go to the best doctors in the world, but if you’re not feeling comfortable when you’re not around them or when you can’t see them, or you have to book an appointment two weeks to see them, and you’re feeling uncomfortable, it’s never gonna work.
[00:34:16] Catherine Kontos: When someone comes and buys supplements, I’ve been in this situation too, and we wanna know that what we’re taking, first of all, is safe, right? It’s been produced in a safe way. Secondly, even if it’s natural, it could hurt you if you take it the wrong way.
[00:34:30] Catherine Kontos: Too much of it is there any guidance with that when people are looking at buying supplementation in your world?
[00:34:36] Garry Lineham: Yeah. Today we’ve got chat, GPT. It’s better than all this. All the doctors and nutritionists that are out there, I mean, it knows more about you, it outperforms doctors.
[00:34:44] Garry Lineham: So we’re in a funny time in the world where you can actually go and ask questions, but you can get basic information. Do you wanna see something? Turn your chat, your turn camera around your phone. Take a picture of your eye. Tell your ChatGPT to become the world’s best ologist and tell you about your body.
[00:34:59] Garry Lineham: [00:35:00] And you watch or take a picture of your face and say, based on, or your tongue, and say You’re a Chinese medicine doc, doctor, tell me about my body. Based on this, you’re gonna have better information coming outta there in seconds than you do by going to most of these people who practice. Because, to be honest with you, it doesn’t really make mistakes.
[00:35:19] Garry Lineham: So, I had a different answer a year ago, two years ago. Today, you have some very good tools at home. So that means it takes away the excuses because the biggest problem that people have is a fear that something may be wrong. Like, I haven’t, what if I have a disease I didn’t know about? What if I have a sexually transmitted disease?
[00:35:37] Garry Lineham: What if I have a, people have these thoughts and these fears? I did I, I lived in fear of maybe I had AIDS, went all the way through the nineties, ’cause why? Because they put it in every movie and on TV and all that. I legitimately had these fears that were caused by media and all these other things.
[00:35:54] Garry Lineham: So one of the things that we can do is we can use technology today to just answer some questions. And [00:36:00] like I said, take a picture of your eye, tell your, tell your chat GPT to become an iridologist and tell you about your body, and tell you some of the positive things that you can do, on a daily basis to correct it.
[00:36:12] Garry Lineham: And then it can go very, very deep.
[00:36:13] Catherine Kontos: Well, you know what one of my doctors did actually tell me. Let me look at ChatGPT and see what it says, and actually put down what I was asking.
[00:36:21] Garry Lineham: Yes. And hats off to that doctor because the real thing that doctor can do is the doctor can help bridge the gaps.
[00:36:31] Garry Lineham: Even if you have the information, you still don’t know how it all fits together. That’s what a doctor can do. ‘Cause they see people over time, not because they went to school. It’s because they’ve seen thousands and thousands of people apply a certain action and then come back. This is a challenge that I have with health influencers that have never, ever been a practitioner, is that they have all this scientific information and they may even have a, have told people to apply it, but once you’ve applied it as a practitioner and you’ve hurt somebody, or [00:37:00] you’ve helped somebody, somebody’s died over what your recommendations or somebody’s lived over your recommendation, until you’ve had those types of experiences, it’s really hard to.
[00:37:10] Garry Lineham: Actually, help somebody. And this is part of the problem that we have in the world today, is health influencers. People would think I, you know, they say I’m a health influencer, and I’m, I went and had clinical practice, and I touched 10,000 bodies in that practice. And since then, I’ve put my hands on over a hundred thousand people.
[00:37:30] Garry Lineham: I have the experience of knowledge. And, the question, if you ever want to ask this question and think about it, is you have open heart surgery, you have two choices. You have somebody who has just come outta school, they came outta Harvard or Princeton or wherever, and they, graduated top of their class, they’ve never performed a surgery.
[00:37:49] Garry Lineham: Or conversely, you have somebody that never went to medical school but has performed at 10,000 of them. Which one are you gonna choose? And the answer, well, I better be the [00:38:00] one that performed 10,000 surgeries. And there was a famous case, by the way, of a guy, and I think it was Harvard. It was a guy who taught all the practitioners, taught all the doctors, all those years he taught, he went in, he even went into surgeries and stuff like, and he taught all the doctors, but he was never a doctor ’cause he never had the education he was teaching about.
[00:38:20] Garry Lineham: And there’s this long story, they made a movie about it, and the movie was to go back and give him his doctorate or his degree, honorary degree. And I will take experience over education any day of the week for anything that I do. And if, just think about that when you think about listening to somebody, you know, because a lot of smart people out there, and listen, I listen to, I have a lot of health influencers or friends.
[00:38:42] Garry Lineham: I listen to ’em, I’m like, wow, that’s actually pretty smart. Well, I didn’t know that. They know way more than me about some of those things. But again, have you put your hands on people? Do you know what happens when someone fades? If their heart stops, if they black out, what do you do? These are all the [00:39:00] things that, when you’ve done this with thousands and tens of thousands of people, you accustomed to
[00:39:05] Catherine Kontos: What is the one thing you could tell the listeners, the readers, whoever’s watching this, that they could do today that would change the course of their health?
[00:39:15] Garry Lineham: Very simple. There’s a 15-minute stress reset. It’s on our YouTube. It’s free of charge. You take out the stress in your body, and you move the tissue in your body, and you do that.
[00:39:23] Garry Lineham: One time per day, and you do it for 30 days. There is not a disease or dysfunction in your body that doesn’t benefit drastically. You do it for 90 days. There’s nothing in your body. There’s not a disease on the planet that won’t turn a corner, look better or have more options at the end of 90 days.
[00:39:40] Garry Lineham: That’s the one thing universally everybody can do right now. Today, no equipment needed, no special session. You don’t even have to special clothes. You can do it in your PJ’s. You can do it in your work outfit. You can do it in your suit or your dress. You can do it in the nude. You can do it any way that you want.
[00:39:57] Garry Lineham: You can turn it on right now, and you can give [00:40:00] yourself that 15 minutes. That’s the one thing that everybody can do universally, anywhere, anytime.
[00:40:05] Catherine Kontos: Where is Human Garage going in the next 12 months?
[00:40:08] Garry Lineham: We are moving in a very different area than people would think. The movements of fascial maneuvers is out.
[00:40:15] Garry Lineham: It’s spreading around the world. We don’t have to do anything. We’re now starting to partner with large organizations to bring this 28-day reset, where you spend 28 days, you give us 15 to 20 minutes a day for 28 days, and it radically shifts. You, you do it with a bunch of people. It radically shifts you and your group of people.
[00:40:35] Garry Lineham: And we’re partnering with organizations to do this where, they’re large health organizations, wellness organizations, spiritual organizations, stuff like that, where they do it together as a community. That’s one thing. The second thing you’re seeing us doing right now is we’re working with governments like Philippines, government, the UAE, and stuff like this, where we’re actually implementing programs or awareness programs globally that’s happening this coming [00:41:00] year.
[00:41:00] Catherine Kontos: Wonderful.
[00:41:00] Garry Lineham: In addition to that, what we’re doing is we’re getting our message out through. Other people, like we’re starting to work, now with professional athletes, where we were in the clinic, there’s a whole number of them. I’m not gonna name them right now, but there are some of the top athletes on the planet that we’re working with.
[00:41:16] Garry Lineham: Matter of fact, we’re gonna be at the Dubai Sports Council, at the end of the year here with the top 1500 athletes on the planet. So we’re showing up in different areas because the core principles of you helping yourself and healing your own body or performing better, those are already out there. You can go do those programs today if you want to help other people.
[00:41:36] Garry Lineham: You can go through our introduction, our seven-day, our 28th day, and go into our coaching programs and become a certified coach. But if you really want to, one of the things that we’re doing is for the first time ever, we have this coaching program that we put out.
[00:41:52] Garry Lineham: We, because of technology now are able to. Help a coach with technology manage their business [00:42:00] better than any other tool I’ve ever seen out there. All in all frame, we have this business accelerator that actually connects, ’cause we have tens of millions of people out there. And the one thing that they do not have, like if you were to start yoga, you went to a local studio most likely.
[00:42:17] Garry Lineham: And you had a community around there. We have literally millions of people that are out there that are saying, I want help and they don’t have anybody to help. So the coaching program we started out this year that we’ve been piloting, now we’re going to full production starting. We’re just now, actually, literally, and into next year will be the biggest addition.
[00:42:35] Garry Lineham: You’ll be able to find coaches all over the world, and as a client or as somebody who’s seeking, we’ll be able to connect you with those people again. A lot of other programs out there, they go out there to expand their program by getting, selling people into coaching programs or practitioner programs so that they can expand their reach.
[00:42:53] Garry Lineham: We already have the reach now, we have to get people to help people. And so that’s where that’s the big changes for this coming [00:43:00] year.
[00:43:00] Catherine Kontos: Wonderful. I wanna get people to know you personally a little better. So we’ll do a little, rapid-fire questioning. Okay.
[00:43:06] Garry Lineham: Okay.
[00:43:06] Catherine Kontos: questions,
[00:43:07] Garry Lineham: cheetah.
[00:43:08] Garry Lineham: You’re gonna ask me what’s the fastest line animal, and it’s a cheetah, zero 60 in 3.3 seconds, which is faster than 92% of the production vehicles.
[00:43:19] Catherine Kontos: Love that. Okay, here we go. What is best for you? Chocolate, dark chocolate, coffee, or tea? Which one would you choose?
[00:43:27] Garry Lineham: Dark chocolate.
[00:43:28] Catherine Kontos: What is a guilty pleasure you have?
[00:43:29] Garry Lineham: That’s interesting.
[00:43:30] Garry Lineham: It’s weird. For me, it’s not so guilty. It is just like getting out in nature, going out, and going to the ocean.
[00:43:38] Catherine Kontos: That’s not a guilty pleasure. Don’t cheat.
[00:43:40] Garry Lineham: That’s the only ones I do. I don’t really have any. That’s a funny, what,
[00:43:45] Catherine Kontos: Is there a TV show you watch? You’re like, oh my God, I can’t believe I’m watching this.
[00:43:50] Garry Lineham: Not like, the worst thing I do is I look at health, other people that have health or cool ideas on TikTok. That’s the worst thing I do.
[00:43:57] Catherine Kontos: Okay. What’s one thing that people would be [00:44:00] surprised to know about you?
[00:44:00] Garry Lineham: Oh geez. These are hard questions. I think the people are surprised when they get to meet me that what they see. It is exactly what they get. There is no difference from what you really see online. To who Wonderful. Who I am or Wonderful. Yeah. Like that’s the biggest thing. People come in, they’re like, is it real?
[00:44:19] Garry Lineham: Are you real? That’s the one thing. And that’s who I am. Like,
[00:44:23] Catherine Kontos: yeah,
[00:44:24] Garry Lineham: I’m a goofball. I like to play around. I work hard, play hard. I’m always telling stupid jokes. I mean, basically that’s, that’s the one thing that people would be surprised.
[00:44:33] Catherine Kontos: Yeah. I love that. Well, thank you. Thank you so much for taking the time today and being here and telling us, and teaching us about everything that we really should implement in our lives every day.
